At macleodbradley we have let go of a traditional fixed price list and instead we put ‘time’ at the heart of everything we do. 

So to receive a tailored quote all we need to get us started, is a conversation…

By listening to your style ideas and understanding how you want to feel and what it is your individual hair needs, we then tailor your appointment time with your Stylist to suit you. 

Having a consultation, a discussion and receiving a tailored quote means that once your appointment time is agreed and booked you can relax in the knowledge that there will be no surprise additional costs and we will never charge more than the quoted time, even if we run over. 

We always invite you to arrive early to relax and enjoy a drink before your appointment should you so wish. We have created a space to relax and unwind, and for you to feel well looked after.  

With charging a guest by the hour for a service, it’s important to understand that the duration of the service can vary based on several factors unique to each client.

Appointments for extensive colour changes, major restyles and additional treatments at macleodbradley are booked accordingly to the time your Stylist will need to help achieve the look you truly want. 

Here’s an easy explanation as to how and why we charge by the hour:

• Desired Colour Effect: Achieving specific colour effects, such as highlights, balayage, or creative colouring, may involve more time and precision. These techniques often require meticulous application and multiple steps, contributing to the overall time needed.
• Colour Correction: If you have previously coloured your hair or if you want a significant change in colour, it might involve colour correction. Correcting uneven tones or removing unwanted pigments can be a complex and time-consuming process.
